Which is what happened this morning.

Turn the computer on....

nada,

nothing,

zilch,

totally non-reactive.

Oh Crap!!!!

Self says,"OK,calm down.Just turn the thing off.Deal with it later."

Crap!The thing won't even turn off,now!

actually,I said,"shit!"

Stewed and fretted over it,all day,at work........

"I soooo don't wanna hafta buy a new laptop."

"Damn!Why didn't I download those photos to CD?"

"And iTunes!!The music!!!My Christmas music could be gone forever!"

I know!

I'll barter with God!

"If you get it to start again,I promise I'll be good and back-up everything!"

I get home.....

Finally get it to turn off......

And it started up again.

Like nothing had ever happened!

Hallelujah!!!!

I am off to back-up everything,on this laptop.

Growing Older, But Not Up

Michael,the Elder,is another year older!

39 years ago,today,at 9:20PM,to be exact,he came into the world.3 weeks past his due date.

All 9lbs.6 1/2ozs. of him.

His first teething ring.........(Not really.He got into the garbage at his grandparents' house,and his grandmother thought it was a cute shot........)

"Now,I am 2." He was a little confused on how many fingers to hold up,I guess........

"Now,I am 39!

A grown-up(I just don't act it all the time)."
