I'm thinking I should start a blog (or a meme) called "A Rant A Day." It seems like there isn't a shortage of stupid people,or things that should be ranted about........
So, on that note,let's get this party started!
What's up with people not knowing how to park?Do they not know those lines mean you're supposed to park between them?! Not straddle them.Not come in the general direction of them?
Do they not notice,when they get out of their car, that they parked like they flunked Parking 101 in Driver's Ed? Did they skip class that day?
Aren't they just a little bit afraid that someone,driving a pick-up,might come along and box them in.Just because they deserve it?Are they that self-centered,that they feel they're entitled to TWO parking spaces?And,usually,they're driving some beat-up POS Toyota Corolla.(Mind you,I love Toyotas-I drive one-I'm just using that as an example.Notice the POS.)It's not like it's a brand new Mercedes.
I feel like getting business cards made up that say "LEARN TO PARK,DUMB-ASS!!!"
I think I could make a lot of money selling those,on Cafe' Press.Actually,stickers might be better.With the "LEARN TO PARK,DUMB ASS!!! on the sticky side.So,you could slap them on their wind shield and then they couldn't miss it.
But,would they get the point?

If you don't know where you're going,get in the right hand lane.Do NOT drive down Florida Avenue,in downtown Tampa,in the middle lane going 5 MPH! And if the idiot driving the brand new black Maserati should read this.I mean you,stupid!Did you not see how you were tying up traffic this afternoon?If you didn't know where you were going-get a GPS,for Gawd's sake.They really do work.If you were sight seeing-yes,people live and work in downtown Tampa.We're just like regular folk.If you stole the car-that's one sure way to get noticed by TPD.
It's a freakin' Maserati,fer Gawd's sake!Have you never heard "Drive it like you stole it!" ?
There-I feel so much better,now.Thank you,everyone, for your time.Back to regular blogging....
or until I find something else to rant about.

Whew! Now, I happen to agree and could add many more, but this is your blog. Great entry! And right on! (OK, I must yield to temptation) so, what's up with people with handicap stickers/plates, parking in designated spaces and hopping out of their vehicles and jogging to the store? Where did they get the sticker. I want one!

Precisely why I park out in the middle of nowhere and hike to the door with a million kids in tow. If I don't some jerk will park too close. I won't be able to open the door and get the babies in their carseats quickly which when it is -40 you kind of need to do. Parking lots in general piss me off. And the handicapped guy, probably has a handicapped family member, but he shouldn't use it when they aren't with him. I have one friend who actually parks in handicap because she has a 3-year old and thinks she needs to be as close as a guy in a wheelchair. Now THAT is a stupid person. OMG...I could go on and on about stupid people. But I'll stop and save it for your next rant!
