After the drive to Blind Pass,we decided to swing by Doc Ford's,for a sit-down at the bar(Doc Ford's has the best bar tenders,by the way!-shout out to him!),and lunch to go.Clam Chowder,Seafood Chowder,Fried Grouper Sandwiches, and rice and beans.Delish!!!!!!!More than enough for lunch AND dinner.Yummy......Eat your hearts out, people! We also ran into to someone from ChrisC's hometown(Niagara Falls,NY) and had a great chit-chat with him.It always amazes us what a small world it really is.Here we are,on an island in the Gulf of Mexico, and run into someone from Western New YorkAnother,go figure........
It has been an absolutely gorgeous evening.Strong breezes from the south west.Clear skies.Low humidity.Beautiful!!!!!!!!
This camera will only take 17 seconds of video,we guess.(next uip for us is the Flip-Mino HD).

What a beautiful sunset. I'm constantly amazed at our small world -- I bump into people I know in the most unexpected places.
The sunsets are definitely better with low humidity... my own non-scientific summation. LOL
Doc Ford's brings back good memories of good food.

Hi There, I've been catching up on your blog posts. Looks like you two are having a great time at Sanibel. I've been there--but it was many years ago. They have the best shells there of anywhere I think.
I have a blog friend who lives there year-round. She talks about Blind Pass sometimes.
We just got home from the beach ourselves. We went to NC and it was fabulous this year!!!!
Have a wonderful trip--and keep sending those wonderful pictures.
Hugs,
Betsy
This is the spot where we got most of our shells. I totally forgot to take photos. We were just there. Can I borrow yours. Just kidding. The pirate ship we went on is right by Ft. Myers beach. www.piecesofeight.com Thanks for the comment on my blog. I have enjoyed yours. You take amazing photos.
