It Came From Outta The Sky........

Which led to this.............................
Which upon close-up,looked like this............
(yep-some nut was out in the middle of a horrendous Florida summertime rainstorm/hailstorm taking pictures....)

I just migrated to South Florida. Right now, I am visiting Orlando. I wonder if (or when) do I get to experience that, too. Thank you for sharing those very interesting photographs.

Woooo Chris, That is some mighty bill hail... Hope it didn't damage your cars/trucks.

We missed a big storm this afternoon--which just went all around us. We need the rain since it's doggone hot here--but we don't want any of that severe stuff.

Have a great evening.
Hugs,
Betsy

Hope it didn't do material damage to the vehicles. Looks to me like it could have.

I hope the hail didn't do any damage to your plants or vehicles. Florida weather is about as weird as Tennessee weather.

Chris: At least it was warm enough to enjoy the brief storm. Neat photos of the event.

It almost looks like a rose. I thought we might get some hail today near us but nothing. Tomorrow suppose to be lots of storms again.

We had hail in PA this week too, I don't recall seeing hail at my house the entire 6 years we were in Orlando, so it was a great experience for my daughter. The dog not so much, she got pelted with a couple big ones! (I told her to stay on the patio!)

I am so jealous! I keep seeing the dark clouds and hearing the rumblings, but they never seem to make it to right over my neighborhood. My grass is pathetic, but the weeds are thriving. My magnolia tree looks like its dying and my grapefruit tree, which I usually have to thin out because it is overloaded, has about a dozen golf ball sized fruits on it this year.

I didn't catch where it was, but on the news the other day they showed a video with baseball sized hail, can you imagine?
