This morning we set out on a quest.
.....................to find the perfect chair for Jon's computer desk...................
.............
the perfect chair.......
Fighting the hordes of the populace...................
not to mention the tourists who didn't know where they were going, but that's for another post......
'till we came upon ..................
the Holy Grail...................

The clouds parted, the sun shone upon us,the angels started singing....................

You see that sign? It says
,"Welcome."They're welcoming US!
They like us.
They really,really like us!
We wandered thru this blessed place 'til there it was!
The
PERFECT chair.............

The perfect price($14.99)..................
Thru the Holy Land we continued, feasting upon all the precious jewels, until one of us cast their eyes upon this......
"I could put shells in this. And it comes in 3 sizes!Perfect for the guest bedroom."
"Calm down. What do we need another lamp for?"
I am sooo going back without you-know-who.......

We have one in CT. and I could spend hours and hours.
Ahhhhhh, IKEA! My happy place these days!
I may just have to make a trip to Tampa to visit that store!
Hi Chris, George needs a new computer chair also. Wish we had an IKEA near here. I'll have to search and see where the nearest one is.
Thanks!!!!
Hugs,
Betsy
I totally hear you,I'm going without you know who..in just a few days :)
So are you like me in that you can't spend only 1 hour in Ikea? Somehow it just gobbles up your entire day. You enter the store in daylight and when you leave it's starting to get dark. How did that happen?
Native Mom-an hour?Glory be!I could spend days there!
Thye do have those room layouts.....bedrooms,kitchens, bathrooms,etc.....
One could live there.
Just abut 10 minutes ago I walked out in the rain to get the mail and as I stood over the recycling been to toss out the junk mail…the sun came out! There was a sale flyer from Ikea and they have a 7-piece stainless steel pot set for $39.95! You have to understand that in the last two weeks I burnt the heck out of my 1-quart and 3-quart pots (I blame this on blogging) and the budget wasn't there to replace them, but $39.95 and I get a new 5-quart and frying pan to boot — I am so making the dreaded drive over the bridge to Tampa!
Sale at IKEA ?! ......runs to get the mail........
Dang dang dang. I wish I hadn't missed it. I love that lamp, I can't wait to see it with shells. I could have done it you know. I just would have sat on the furniture every so often, and you could have smuggled me a Tuborg out of the cafeteria at every rest stop.
Sue-IKEA is here forever. When you get back,we'll do it.You and Jon can sit on the furniture.Lay on the beds too.....just don't get me kicked out.;-)
