Pass-A-Grille,Florida

After our little sojurn to Gulfport,Florida(which you can read about here and here),we drove on down to Pass-A-Grille.

Down to the end of Gulf Way.

Down by the rock jetty.

The last parking space before the road turns.

Put the money in the parking meter.

Walked out,in the drizzle and found this scene.....
and this.......
'til we came to this.......
and saw this.......
Enough of that!
Let's go to The Hurricane for happy hour!
What could be better than sitting in a bar, right on the beach,on a drizzly Saturday afternoon, havin' a cold brewski, watching Univ. of Tenn. get slapped around by USC(we are Gator fans, after all----ok,we're USF Bull-ChrisC's Alma Mater- fans first, but the Gators are a very close second-our money went there, with Erich, the Younger)?
And the only other people in the bar are you,the bartender, and the manager of the whole dang place.....
Could this be a better sight................ ? just askin' .......................

Hi Chris
I scrolled down a few posts... I like your humour, your a lot like me, that's a good thing.
I think Morris the cat has the best seat in town...
Your pictures are awesome... and that lady who parked between the lines... I would have a little canary about that one too.
Happy OW

Ahhh...the ocean...how lovely. There is nothing like walking along the beach near the ocean. The ocean's moods are so unpredictable. Nice sunset shot. Thanks for sharing.

We sat & watched the rain from an old beach restaurant/bar last week. Football was on, but I hardly noticed it because we had the best conversation about the dreary, angry looking ocean.

Lovely shots,

Hello Chris,

Great shots of Pass-A-Grille. Love The Hurricane! I do not go there as often as I used to. I like to sit on the second floor deck, have a glass of wine and watch a sunset.

Thanks for sharing your Pass-A-Grille adventure with us.

Looks like a beautiful place to visit. I also scrolled down a few posts - we have people that park like that around here too. Couldn't you just scream?

Very humorous! This is home! I live in the north county...5 miles from the coast. Isn't it beautiful here!!!
We love the Hurricane...best place to watch a sunset.

Although my family is an Auburn family, I am a USF Bull, too. As for the Gators...we cheer when they play anyone but AU. :-)

Ahh Happy Hour. I could use a serene stroll along the shore right now, too. Altho sitting on my porch gazing out at my garden (with a box of tissues) isn't all that bad.
