The Vanilla People are gonna get out and about.
Hard to believe,I know......
But every once in a while something comes along that just makes us get up off of our collective asses and do SOMETHING.
To try and make this screwed up planet
a better place.
So....,if one of us can convince the other one of us to venture out to Ybor City, this is what we hope to do, September 12th.
We ROCK for:
Nicole,my bestest friend in the whole-wide world(she'd wipe my ass in the nursing home, that's what a good friend she is),a breast cancer survivor
Erin,my second bestest friend in the whole-wide world(the best person to talk to on the phone, while you're doing something you don't like to do-like empty the dishwasher),a breast cancer survivor
Becky, our friend Tootie's daughter, who is fighting the good fight, right now.
Alan, and ChrisC's mother-who both lost their fight with Colon Cancer (another scourge of this planet)
So..................................
who do you ROCK for?

I rock for my "sis" Jan who is a breast cancer survivor. I also rock for Becky, Tootie's daughter.
I guess I kinda rock for myself too since I am a uterine cancer and a malignant melanoma survivor.
I love Ybor City and would love to be there to rock for my sis, my best friend Claudia which hopefully has found epace after a longlasting struggle and for Mandy.
Thanks, I am glad I found you guys.
Thanks for thinking of Becky, Ms Chris. I will tell her that you AND I Rock for her!!! Of course it goes without saying that I Rock for TinkRBell. :-)
Tootie-Becky needs to come to Ybor City and ROCK the collective asses off of these younger kids!
I'm right there rocking with all you beachy type folks!! Most recently my very much loved FIL who lost the battle on July 21st; my friend and horsey-buddy Leslie as well as my new friend Kristen who are both fighting the battle for the 2nd time!; my sweet niece who is so very brave; and I fear I could go on...... but I won't. Not here. Not now. Let's just say I'm there rocking with y'all. And I'll be on Sanibel rocking on October 10th!!
I rock for my childhood friend, Susan, (from Atlanta) ---who is battling breast cancer (which has spread to her bones).
Have a great weekend.
Hugs,
Betsy
I ROCK for my mom, now gone, but she was a breast cancer survivor.
I ROCK for my Aunt Dot, a breast cancer survivor twice over.
I ROCK for all women who are survivors or who are battling breast cancer right now.
This sounds like a great event!
My best friend's mom is having a lumpectomy this week. You rock!
