your computer has decided to take a crap on you!
Which is what happened this morning.
Turn the computer on....
nada,
nothing,
zilch,
totally non-reactive.
Oh Crap!!!!
Self says,"OK,calm down.Just turn the thing off.Deal with it later."
Crap!The thing won't even turn off,now!
actually,I said,"shit!"
Stewed and fretted over it,all day,at work........
"I soooo don't wanna hafta buy a new laptop."
"Damn!Why didn't I download those photos to CD?"
"And iTunes!!The music!!!My Christmas music could be gone forever!"
I know!
I'll barter with God!
"If you get it to start again,I promise I'll be good and back-up everything!"
I get home.....
Finally get it to turn off......
And it started up again.
Like nothing had ever happened!
Hallelujah!!!!
I am off to back-up everything,on this laptop.
see ya in a while...........

I am having computer problems too. Mine won't turn on unless I unplug it and take the battery out and replace them---several times! Then it works like it has molasses running through it. I guess it is time for the Geek Squad to take a look at it. But yes, it is terrifying when your whole life is on your computer!
Glad it turned back on for you. My laptop (that I posted about) turned on that one day. Now nothing. It's just toast. My desktop is about to crap (down to 23% memory). It's time to get those photos off it before it is too late. Damn thing is so slow....I would love to be rich and buy a fast super-computer. Good luck with yours.
