This morning we set out on a quest.

(except for the Super Soakers-you can best believe we have two of those!!!)

We Have A Problem........

Yes,we've been kinda sorta remiss in posting,lately.

We have an addiction problem..................

One of us is saving the US of A from terrorists,

farming..........

We are here to testify that it is truly an

addiction!

Somebody has to rebuild the country after terrorists have destroyed it,don't they?

Thank Gawd for those who are willing to give up their free time to rebuild this great country we live in.

And somebody has to grow crops for the people,don't they?

And if one of us becomes a rich farmer,in the process,all the better!Right?

YES!!! One of us soooo rocks at FarmTown!!!

We're Whoring Ourselves

Bet you never thought you'd see that title here,didya?

Well,while doing our daily perusal of our favorite blogs,we came across this on Clark's blog(love,love,love him! First read of the day-really,Clark,it is).

So,we looked at ourselves,and said,

Now,we know we suck as a local blog.

We're not political too often(well,the sexual assault of a middle school student by other students does tend to get our dander up.....).We don't do anything exciting.We try to stay out of other peoples' business('cept for that sexual assault/middle school/parents sucking at parenting thing).

Crap!We hardly ever go anywhere!

ChrisC's 90 year old father's life in an ALF is more interesting than us.

There are sooo many other blogs in Tampa Bay,that are way better than us.

Our blog is about the day to day,everyday crap all of us put up with,each and every day.We're not political.

They Grow Up So Fast...............

We've being fussing over our Black Swallowtail butterfly caterpillars,and then their Chrysallis,for a few weeks now.Once the chrysallis had formed we knew it would be approximately a week until they started emerging.
This morning while sitting on the patio,enjoying our morning coffee and reading the paper,it happened!

The first to leave home..........

In all of these photos you see notice the second chrysallis still developing.The third is on another plant.

It's difficult work,drying a new baby off.........

Come on,you can do it!

And take off he(we think it's a male-we could not get a good shot of the wings open)did.

In our excitement of watching it take flight for the first time,we neglected to take a picture,or to notice the emergence of a Gulf Fritillary,that we weren't even aware of......
