I too, was reading some of the older posts about your Dad. I take it he is still doing well? I like those cheez-its too. He has good taste. Must be a Canadian thing.

My Dad had such a dry sense of humor that all of us enjoyed over the years. Now I hear many of the funny things he said, coming out of my Grand Children. That always makes me smile.

Hi Chris, I was reading back at some of your old posts about yours Dad (taxes, birthday, those four-letter words, etc.)... He must be (have been) a real character.

George's Dad (97 in August) is a character too--and one stubborn man. He has ALWAYS done everything for himself and now that he can't hear well nor see---he has to depend on others (his 3 kids) to help him.

He finally (reluctantly) turned over his financial situation to George (who is the oldest child). BUT--he still gets his mail (all kinds of crap and junk) and 'tries' to read it every day for hours and hours. Most of the time he gets all confused because he can only see enough to question what is being said.

I keep saying: How do we stop all of this junk mail he has received for umpteen years????? I've NEVER seen so much --each and every day. GADS!!!!

Have fun with your Daddy. Mine died in 1969--and I miss him so much.
